For some reason, the image of this quilt has been sitting in my blog drafts for a very long time. Perhaps it is because I'm not sure if I've already posted it or not. In addition, the letters that I so painstakingly pieced don't stand out in the photo, though they are quite visible in the quilt itself.
This was a charity quilt that I donated to the children's oncology ward at the local hospital.
I used graph paper to draft the letters, used only straight strips of fabric with no curved seams. I wish I had taken pictures of the process! It was a challenge - but fun - and something that I want to do again.
